There are many books out there that try to explain how to draw for animation. They focus on concepts such as construction and gesture, attempting to show the artist how to adapt his or her drawing skills to the specific field of animation. Throughout my learning, however, I have found it far easier to watch these ideas being explored rather than reading about them. For this reason, the videos shown below have been, and indeed still are, invaluable to me.
I strongly suggest that anyone learning the art of animation should study these alongside any textbooks they might be reading.
